The Civil Engineering Program aims at training professionals with the capacity of designing, managing, and executing all stages of any construction or reconstruction. The civil engineer operates in the project design and idealization of works in the area of civil construction. Their work includes the analysis of technical and economic feasibility, specification of materials for the execution of these constructions, analysis of soil characteristics, insolation study and site ventilation, among others. At construction sites, the professional will lead the work teams, supervising deadlines, costs, quality standards, and safety.
The civil engineer can work in public institutions, project and consulting,companies, construction companies and their contractors, with project design and monitoring the stages of a civil construction work.
