Center of Technological Innovation and Entrepreneurship
The Center of Technological Innovation and Entrepreneurship (Núcleo de Inovação Tecnológica e Empreendedorismo - NITE) was created in 2001 with the purpose of promoting a cooperative environment to bring together UFOP interests concerning the promotion of innovative activities of technological transfer, aiming to contribute to the social and economic development in the institution’s sphere of influence.
NITE main goals are to gather and protect the assets related to intellectual property created at UFOP, seeking to transfer these assets to public use in order to support economic development and implement an entrepreneurship culture throughout the academic environment.
