Food Science and Technology

The program began in 2009. Since then, the commitment to the human right to adequate food and to the whole society nutritional security is worked on. The Program offers higher education level training adapted to the technological development conditions, also taking into consideration the social and human context to promote fundamental changes and innovation in the multidisciplinary view. The studies are directed to the technological improvement of the agroindustry, regarding its efficiency, quality, and productivity.
 

Career Oportunities

The bachelor in Food Science and Technology is qualified to work in different areas of food quality assessment and productivity, such as food industries, companies of food storage and distribution, waste industries, scientific and technological research institutions, physicochemical analysis laboratories, health inspection institutions, and consulting companies.
