Industrial Engineering

The Industrial Engineering Graduate Program aims to train highly qualified people, as well as to promote quality scientific research in the valuation area of ​​Engineering III. The master’s program is offered by UFOP’s Institute of Exact and Applied Sciences (Instituto de Ciências Exatas e Aplicadas - ICEA) and the School of Mines (Escola de Minas - EM) and since its beginning, it seeks to provide for a strong connection between researchers in the Industrial Engineering field and other technological areas.  In addition to conducting scientific research, this association may allow the development of software solutions that could be used as models or applied in solving various types of organizational problems.It is expected for the master in Industrial Engineering to have a concrete view over the field’s concepts and the ability to coordinate the development of solutions aimed at improving organizational processes. The program has two lines of research: 1) Industrial Management and 2) Modeling of Productive and Logistical Systems.
