UFOP signs cooperation agreements with Iranian universities

In the second semester of this year (2021) UFOP signed two important cooperation agreements with Iranian institutions. The cooperation reinforces the cultural and educational exchange that has existed between Brazil and Iran for more than 100 years.

In September 2021, the first partnership with this country was established through the signing of an academic cooperation agreement with the University of Tehran (UT). On November 8, in a virtual ceremony, the Rector of UFOP, Prof. Cláudia Aparecida Marliére de Lima, signed the agreement between the Federal University of Ouro Preto and Allameh Tabataba'i University (ATU), UFOP's second agreement with Iran.
