Guest House
UFOP’s guest house hosts researchers and other professionals during their work time in the institution. It can also host refugees of any kind, in risky situations, who have come to Brazil through UFOP. It is administered by UFOP’s Tourism Department.
The premises have an adequate infrastructure and is in a good location in a historic building in the center of Ouro Preto. The initiative contributes to UFOP’s research and education partnerships, hosting visiting researchers, faculty members and technicians in various collaboration agreements.
The space may also be used for teaching, research and extension activities, for example in the execution of projects and development of technical and cultural activities by the Rector’s Office and any of the university Academic Units.
The Guest House is located at Rua Senador Rocha Lagoa, 177, Center of Ouro Preto.
