Pedagogy

Located on Mariana’s Campus, the program was created in 2008’s second semester and focuses on the training of teachers for elementary, middle, and high school levels. It provides professional education in pedagogical services, in school support and in other departments that demand educational knowledge. The program’s curriculum has courses aimed at assisting professional growth in subject matter, methodologies, and teaching practices. There are also courses dedicated to the study of the sociological, anthropological, philosophical, psychological, and historic fundamentals of education. Courses related to the knowledge of teaching systems, of school institutions and classroom and classroom can support the teacher-students relations and the current educational problems. The participation of internships in educational spaces allows the practice of methodologies studied in class.
 

Career Oportunities

The undergraduate professional  has several possibilities, including: teaching, coordination, supervision and orientation in schools, educational management services, selection and personal training in companies, cultural diffusion services and mass communication, pedagogical assessment, and they may also work in educational projects and direction/direction assistance in public or private schools.
