Pharmaceutical Nanotechnology

The Pharmaceutical Nanotechnology Graduate Program (Programa de Pós-Graduação em Nanotecnologia Farmacêutica - PPGNanofarma) is a Doctorate Program, and is part of a network of 9 Higher Education Institutions, namely: the Federal University of Goiás (UFG), the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS), the Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC), the University of São Paulo, Ribeirão Preto campus (USP-Ribeirão Preto), the São Paulo State University (UNESP-Araraquara), the Federal University of Santa Maria (UFSM), UFOP, the Federal University of Pernambuco (UFPE) and the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN). The program was created due to the lack of specialized personnel, with interdisciplinary knowledge to the technological development and technology transferring in the university-society interactions.

Therefore, the multi-institutional program aims to make strong progress in the area, offering throughout the institutions a modern instrumental park, adapted with human resources and scientific skills, internationally recognized, to develop Research, Development and Innovation activities in nanotechnology focused on health.
