Tourism

Created in December of 1999, the Tourism Program offers the modality of bachelor, aiming the training of professionals who have a notable expertise in the meaning and importance of Tourism and Hospitality. The program enables the professional to develop skills in the areas of heritage management and hosting, and, as an entrepreneur, to contribute to the economy’s growth. The program proposes two lines of study: Means of Hosting and Patrimony. The academic background allied to internship opportunities, interdisciplinary activities, technical visits, and participation in events, fulfills theoretical activities and develops a critical and practical sense in the student. The program also has research groups in full activity.
 

Career Oportunities

Tourism technicians are able to hold activities in tourism companies, related to events, hosting, gastronomy, patrimony, agency, management processes and intervention in spaces in which there are similar activities. There is also the option in the academic area of research, graduation, and teaching.
